We have a some great opportunities for keen Graduate / Junior Interior Designers to join our team on full time, perm basis. We are looking for people with experience / interest in creating world class retail environments.  We need these people to be good all rounders with a flair for creative concept generation supported by good production skills such as sketching, CAD (Vectorworks) and 3D modeling skills (Renderworks / Cinema4D).

We are looking for people that are excited by exploring new things in the world of commercial interior design in the sectors of retail, food & beverage, transport and hospitality. People that are inspired by new trends, materials and technologies whilst actively seeking out what’s next in the industry, such as visiting exhibitions or lectures. We are also looking for team players that understand the notion of experiential design and is driven by crafting excellent customer experiences.

Working as part of the Interiors team, we are looking for people that are hungry to learn and develop with close guidance and direction from the Director of Interiors and other senior members of the team.

Specific skills required for the role:

  • Excellent idea and concept generation
  • Excellent sketching, particularly of physical spaces
  • Up to date knowledge of trends, technology, materials, finishes, manufacturing methods
  • Ability to use Vectorworks to produce plans and elevations
  • Ability to use Renderworks or Cinema4D to 3D model an interior space
  • Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop and InDesign
  • Experience of MS Office package
  • Self starter and efficient at time keeping
  • A desire to learn and be taught
  • Expert Apple Mac user
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year relevant industry experience.

The types of project deliverables that the Junior Interior Designers will work on:

  • Undertaking research to understand the market opportunity, brand positioning and trends
  • Supporting concept generation by creating mood boards, organising material samples, and sketching ideas
  • Supporting design development by creating plans, layouts, elevations and 3D models for technical drawing packs
  • Supporting on site build by conducting regular site visits and conducting snagging activities.

Qualifications required:

  • 2:1 or higher Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or similar.
