This is where we take our hat off to everyone out there who is shaking it up. Those that are brave enough to challenge – those that are truly innovating. These are the things we see that inspire us to go further, to keep pushing. To innovate.
That more people are exercising more frequently during lockdown is clear (59% of those who exercised once a week or less prior to social distancing are now exercising 4 times or more a week). But what’s less certain is whether they are seeing any desired results from this. Paradoxically, some of those who are running everyday may still be putting on weight and may even be becoming less fit than they were before.

At the same time that it’s been announced lockdown will be extended for another three weeks in the UK, we are seeing a glimmer of hope for retail elsewhere in the world. Though the emergence of consumers there isn’t a crazy, mob-handed spending spree, the luxury market in China is seeing consumers emerge from their lockdown and ‘Revenge Spending’ (A term used to describe the phenomenon of consumers splurging post-lockdown).

From the very beginning, we have been lucky to have had a solid plan and preparation for working from home, all the server access, remote support tools, insurance and making sure a fast internet connection both in and out of the studio were priority items to ensure the remote capability of the team.

At the point of writing this, the UK has just been locked down. There is a lot of craziness going on right now and if we think its tough now, just wait until we’ve all been house bound for 4 weeks! That said, in the toughest of times, we have to find moments of joy.
