The Centre was founded in 2018 at Oxford University, and over the years has become an independent nonprofit. Wanting to continually produce high-quality research, grow their network and to expand their field-building activities, they needed a strong brand to put themselves out there. This is where TYC came in.
With the aim to make Gov AI a pioneering leader in the AI community that shapes society, through our research we discovered that they want to be seen as an authoritative figure but with common-good in their hearts. The intent was to be seen as a global entity with a British origin.
