This week we’ll be looking at the mega trend known as; Better Business. Involving the search for more ethical, sustainable consumerism. Taken from the Trendwatching August snapshot doc.
July saw Emirates Airline jump on the bandwagon by introducing a vertical farm to produce better plane food.
This farm is named the world’s largest indoor vertical farm. It will produce higher qulity and chemical-free produce for the flights and lounges. Farm-fresh meals will be served on Emirates’ flights by Dec 2019. A step towards a more sustainable airline idustry, something we certainly could do with.
