Here at The Yard Creative, we like to get our hands dirty and do the work. We brought the yard to the office quite literally with our latest team social activity, making plant babies. Now everyone has a new miniature plant buddy to keep them company whilst we knuckle down and do what we do best. We also took the time to tend to our existing office plant friends, and gave them some much needed attention, love, and care. No plant gets left behind!

We recently faced one of our sister companies (Leslie Jones Architecture) in a friendly (competitive!) game of rounders. Before the match, we had a picnic, enjoyed food and drinks, and engaged in conversation. Once all formalities were done the game began, and we weren’t about to hold back. Here at TYC we love a good challenge, but more importantly, we are team players and appreciate those who are the same. Well done to all those who scored rounders. We came, we saw, we conquered! TYC starts its first ever Bake Off competition. Every week two team members go head-to-head as they roll their sleeves up and get to baking. Both participants will present their baking treats to the wider staff, who will decide the victor each week.

Welcome back to an old Yardster! Director of Growth and Expansion Tom Eddington re-joins the TYC team, having previously worked with us 13 years ago. With a background in Architecture, Retail Design, Digital, Brand and Strategy, Tom has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands such as Nike, Fila, Facebook, Selfridges, L’Oreal and more.
